DID YOU KNOW?
Students in Edmond Public Schools do not receive formal
art education classes until 5th grade?
In 2002, Edmond Fine Arts Institute (FAI) and Edmond Public Schools(EPS) began a creative partnership so 3rd and 4th-grade students could have weekly art education lessons all year. What started as a pilot-program in three elementary schools has grown to include every EPS elementary school!
FUN FACT: This school year FAI Instructors will teach 4,704 art lessons to over 4,500 students.
As a 501c3 nonprofit, FAI relies on support from individuals, businesses, and foundations to fund the Art in Schools Program.
FAI RAISES $140,000 EACH YEAR SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS PROGRAM
