LESLIE LIENAU
Leslie was raised in New Mexico and since 1991 has made Oklahoma her home. She studied with Ted Seth Jacobs at his school Ecole Albert DeFois in Central France. Her work reflects the quiet beauty and simplicity of selected soft pastel drawings and oils of the landscape and still life compositions. She has studied with and received invaluable lessons from Dan Robinson and also studied briefly with Jacob Collins and Anthony Ryder. Leslie has received numerous awards and has work is in both private and public collections. Her work has been exhibited in a solo exhibit at the Governor’s Gallery at the Oklahoma Capitol, Oklahoma City, OK and at the American Art in Miniature Show (2007 & 2008) at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK. Leslie is on the faculty of the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond, OK. She teaches drawing and painting in the classical tradition to both children and adults and also serves on staff as the Enrollment Director of The Fine Arts Institute of Edmond.
