Community Partnerships
CITY OF EDMOND JUVENILE COURT
"Your Creative Side" is an art based deliquency prevention program for teens. It offers art classes which encourage independent expression and hands-on experiences taught by Fine Arts Institute professional artists.
EDMOND WOMEN'S CLUB
With EWC funding, FAI faculty members present hands-on art workshops for all 4th grade classes in the Edmond Public Schools. 1,400 students' art skills are enriched with these workshops.
EDMOND PUBLIC SCHOOLS
With funds from the EPS and Edmond Arts and Humanities Council, FAI art teachers teach 550 3rd and 4th graders each week at four Edmond elementary schools. Art test results have improved dramatically.
UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
A partnership with the College of Arts, Media and Design provides assistance with curriculum, faculty and interns.
PEPPER'S RANCH
With funding from two impressive national foundations, the FAI is able to place our art therapist in this outstanding facility. She works with the residents on creativity and self expression through art.
